Today is a day like many other days since August 8th, 2010. You ask why do I include the date August 8, 2010? That is the day I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour - FOR REAL. Up until that time I had just lived in the shadows of my parents Christian faith. I overlooked my life carefully that day, I was actually trying to examine what I had done in life to make it go so terribly wrong for me....It all came back to me being a big, fat, fake christian. I looked at all the past and present sin in my life and was confronted by God - stood there face to face with GOD and admitted that I was a fake and no longer wanted to live that type of life. I want to leave a legacy for my children that they will always remember and hopefully it will lead them to Christ also. So I committed my life to Christ that day and I could not be happier!!!
So when I say it started out like many other days - I mean that I started out with reading Our Daily Bread, and reading the Insight for Living devotional and listening to todays broadcast. THen took Brandon to school at HeadStart (I pray to be working there soon!) and then went to Brandi's school and got her out of Algebra 2 which it was dumb they put her in it to begin with..... now, I am heading out to pick up Brandon.
I love Jesus and am so happy he never gave up on me!!!
